Counterpoise Press is an advance and royalty paying traditional publisher. I created Counterpoise after experiencing aspects of both traditional and self-publishing. I realized that I wanted to forge a different path to publishing, one that combined the high quality of traditional publishing with the freedom and self control of self-publishing.

BIO
Hannah Parker was born and raised in Oklahoma. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. She created and runs the traditional publishing house, Counterpoise Press.
When not writing, Hannah can be found drinking coffee, reading, or competing in the hunter ring with her horse. Hannah currently lives in Oklahoma with her cat, dog, and horse.
